Studentische Tagung Sprachwissenschaft (StuTS) is a conference for linguistics students. Since 1987, StuTS has been
organized every semester.
The conference is being organized by a team of volunteers that want to share this idea with their colleagues.
The program consists of talks, workshops, and poster sessions, all held and made by students.
Besides that, traditionally a couple of keynote speakers are also included.
StuTS gathers around 200 participants when on-site, but the online conferences gathered around 800 people.
Since the organizers are engaged students who are deeply interested in the field of linguistics, they try to gather
people, whom this kind of experience means a lot for their future carrier.
The goal is to enable young linguists to exchange their thoughts and knowledge, as well as to provide them with the experience that will help them in their future academic life.
